Have you ever stared at yourself in the mirror for so long that your reflection starts to look different as the minutes pass? Just observe and watch as you change shape in the moment.
What do you see? What do you feel?
We need to look at ourselves the way we look at the night sky when it’s full of stars. We should feel relaxed and grateful that it even exists for our own viewing. The moon is in our space to shift our energy and deliver us healing light. The stars remind us that even in a dark space, we can create our own light.
We are in a time and space where we have to create our own way to shine. We have to look within and discover what creates our glow. We need to heal with the light that is already within us. It’s waiting.
Look at your eyes. What have they seen? How often have they cried? Were the tears wasted or were they healing?
Think about the scenery that your eyes have absorbed. The feeling of that scenery is within you. Did you travel there in your mind, or did your feet carry you to a place where you could be so moved that your body felt the beauty on its own?
Have your eyes seen the tragedy that can surround us? The emotion of those moments is within us until we are ready to let it go and accept that pain is a process that invites healing when we are ready. With healing comes growth, and with that comes self-love.
When we look at ourselves long enough, we will see all the emotions spinning through us like watercolors in oil. The emotions we feel make us who we are, whether we love what we see or not. Emotions are created by how we choose to perceive with our eyes and how we choose to feel with our hearts.
We are color, we are light, and we can freely forgive ourselves. In order to forgive, we have to accept what has been done and take the lesson that came from it and use it in life. Wisdom lies within us.
You are wisdom and color created by your own experiences. Take a moment to look at yourself. Look deep into your space. Watch as your face changes colors and feel the different emotions flow through you. Take deep breaths. When you feel ready, take a deep breath, look yourself in the eyes, and I challenge you to say, “I love you. Thank you for this life” … and mean it.
